I am interested in knowing if you have some other ports than I do.

    Thanks,

Could someone tell me which driver the "PS/2 Communications Port" uses? It may clear up a mystery for me.

I know that, but I'm having trouble getting windows to recognize it after a reinstallation of windows. Knowing which driver it uses would help me. (Click on the PS/2 Communications Port, then click on properties, then click on the drivers tab. I want to know what it says in there.)

i have a question. i sorta feel ripped cause i bought the same unit off ebay for 200 without the cannon harness. anyways i have looked at the posts but have no idea as to how to wire it for a car or for in house to get all the software etc. installed or test it out to see if it powers up at all. For those who have done so is it possible to get a wiring diagram to wire this so i can use it with one of those notebook adapters plugged into the fan's dc adaptor that is on the onboard I/O. Also i would need help with the wiring for sound. if anyone could help me out i would be most obliged.i know i cant wire anything really to save my life and would hate to blow some fuses and mess up the machine. thanks. this item is cool and for the price u cant beat it. i plan to fiberglass it into the dash once i get my mp3s dvd gps and put a wifi card in there.

If you cant wire, which is what you need to do to get into this - My advice: re/sell the unit quickly or find someone who knows what their doing.

The unit shipped here is $172 so u only got ripped for $28.

The wire diagram I got with mine is practically useless. Most all everyone here opened the unit up, removed the cannon connector, and modded it to suit their own needs. To use the cannon harness at all would complicate the project beyond the means of my level of comfort.

You need to be able to identify common connections such as power and audio. The network cable was a piece of cake, same goes for keyboard and mouse.

All the internal cables are routed internally to the useless cannon connector, I just re/wired them to test. My plans are to remount them accordingly after I can a workable extension cable for the touchscreen and lcd so that i can mount it on a gooseneck and the cpu somewhere else out of the way because it's huge and ugly.

IMO it wasn't a flame. Seemed like he was saying you'd be better off selling it if you don't know how to wire it.
