but since the group buy is over how are you still able to sell at a pretty decent price?

    just wondering

ill probably get a screen and then mod it into an in dash housing (and pray i dont **** up the soldering)

Well now that I made a big order with lilliput, I can still continue to get a good deal on the screens as long as I keep ordering in quanity on a regular basis. This is business 101 for all others listening in. Once you establish a rep with a company, it is a good idea to work hard to keep it up.

Well, it turns out you can blame someone else, as I probably wasn't even close to the 30th person!

I can still dig $255 though.

    Cheers,

Sorry, but the rules are for 30 buyers. I am going to continue to sell these after the buy. The link will stay the same. But prices will go up a little. Not much. Not quite sure how much yet. But they will still be reasonably priced. And I guarantee to beat anyone elses price.
Hmmm - be careful what you guarantee...

In order to do this you should have a price of $240.99USD since Carpod is selling them (in a GB on this forum) for that price including shipping (or $243.57 - if I read their website correctly.) I realize you are getting a great deal for all of us on this, just pointing out that business 101 also states you need to be true to your word. And it appears you have provided a written guarantee. My .02 - not a flame - I still think the $255 is a good price, just wish you'd keep the $240 for a bit longer since you have so much interest. I can tell by your initial post that you are still making SOME profit, but since you have a website that sells other items, why not make this your "loss leader" and hook up a few more of us? I for one intend to buy more itmes now that I have checked out your website...

these are the same screens that you would get from ebay (Hong Kong), Lilliput is the company who refurbishes these screens and sells them on. They are Hitachi screens rehoused and rebadged as Lilliputs.

This is a great deal $100 cheaper than digitalww but he was never the cheapest route for these anyway,

NightHunter: Any chance you'll run a GB for the USB GPS, shown on your website??

LimeySTI: Did not know that, so that means anything that says "Lilliput" on it is a refurb???? That means THESE are refurbs?? Is there a warranty?

Lilliput is a genuine Chinese company that speacializes in mobile lcd displays, the fact that they are refurbished does not change the warranty covered. All models would be covered for a certain time after purchase, you'll probably have to pay shipping though. The refurbishment issue has been covered many times on this forum.

Quick note - use the drivers from digitalww.com as they seem to be newer than the ones that come with the unit.

Also if anyone thinks I'm anti Lilliput, well I own a 619 and am looking at purchasing a second one for the kids to use in the rear. I wanted a Xenarc but couldn't justify spending $500-600 and then cutting up the housing.

Is there any kind of warranty on these? If they stop working after 2 months, are we out $255?
