what abuot my responses. I'm very honest. When I owe someone I owe somone. If I've screwed someone I've screwed someone. If I've had a good transaction then that's what I had. Simple as that as far as that goes. I'm not a business and most of the things I've sold have been electronics besides some website thing I sold a few times. I only sold that to recoup monies thata I paid on ebay to get the website. My point though is out of the actual 'products' that I've sold only one person had a problem and it was some remote receiver for a car dvd player she said wasn't in the box. I didn't argue with her and we actually had good dialogue about the issue. We came to an agreement that I'd pay half and she'd pay half for this wire, but she had to provide me with a receipt. Never heard from her until she just left nuetral feedback out of the blue. Anyways I appreciate anyone who looks at my auction and I don't mind explaining anything from feedback to whatever.

    Couple of problems here.

    1. The mail in rebate is only good for Sprint customers who have not activated a phone in the last 18 months.
    2. This mail in rebate is not eligble for new Sprint customers, only for the upgrade program.
    3. The receipt shown will not work with this rebate as it has to match the name and address of the person sending in the rebate.
    4. The Serial number (ESN) of this phone should be checked before anyone even thinks about buying it. You should verify that this phone is not flaged as stolen in the Sprint system. Other wise you are buying a worthless peice of plastic.
    5. His auction stated "Existing customers can also use this rebate, but you would have to extend your contract by a year." is wrong. You have to extend your contract by 2 years to get the $130.00 rebate. And again you must not have activated another phone for 18 months. And they will only send the rebate to the name and address on the receipt.

Just a heads up for you guys, I work for Sprint and would be more than happy to run a ESN check if the seller posts it. However the Rebate is not going to work.

Listen how are you going to speak on a rebate you know nothing about. This rebate is especially for new customers. It's made for new customers. The rebate for existing customers is good no matter how long you've had your phone you just have to sign up for an additional year and the way it's worded you may not even have to do that. You should have asked me about this before posting crap.

I'll address your problems one by one.

3.I paid for this cash so it will be your name an address on the rebate request form. So no problem there.

5.This is a sprint rebate, but I didn't buy from sprint I bought from a store that must have a deal through sprint so you can only speak on sprint's direct rebates not this one.

I hope you go the extra mile and check the esn since you've taken time out to show negativity or maybe you were really helping anyways I hope you check.

Anyways for those interested in the phone there are more pics on my site.....

Any questions, post up or pm me. Thanks

Wow, this guy is something. I work for the company and his first statement is "Listen how are you going to speak on a rebate you know nothing about." Well let's see, how about because I deal with these rebates all day long. There is only 1 mail in rebate for sprint for $130.00 and it's for existing customers only. New customers receive an Instant discount on the phones.

"The rebate for existing customers is good no matter how long you've had your phone" This is wrong and a lie. It clearly states on the rabate form which you must not have, that you cannot have activated a phone for the past 18 months.

It does not matter where you buy the sprint phone, it's all the same Sprint mail in rebate and the rules are all the same. Look I am just trying to help you avoid another negative feedback. Someone is going to buy your phone thinking they can get the mail in rebate. Then they are going to be ****ed off when they find out they cant.

Look if you dont beleive me go ahead and educate yourself by calling the Rebate Center at 1-800-477-4127. However if you had the rebate form in front of you it clearly states all of these facts on the back...Items 1-5 in red.

I would be more than happy to check your ESN tomorrow at work, no problem. One thing to note, if your Receipt has no name or address then it is possible to send that receipt to another person and they can get the rebate.....ONLY if they sign a new 2 year contract and they have no activated another phone for 18 months.

Anyone that is interested in the phone and is discouraged by what this guy is saying please call Staples. If you go to my link you will see pics of the rebate. One has the date I bought it which is the 9th of April. I guess since this guy works for sprint he'll say that I bought this phone for 230 bucks and got a 130 dollar rebate. If that was the case how would I even make my money back, why even sell the phone. The truth of the matter is Staples put the 8100's on clearance for 92 bucks here in Atlanta. Darn near every store was out of stock so I bought three from two different stores and as far as I know there is only one store left in the area (out of like 30) that has any left. I looked at this for a way for me to make a few bucks while still giving someone the opportunity to get this phone for far less than most are selling them(free if it up to $130). I've kept one for myself, given one to my girlfriend and am selling this one. I specifically went through convo with both stores I went to and both specifically told me who this rebate applies to and I have read the details of the rebate.

After posting this I will try and take a pic of the area of the rebate that shows the eligibility.

Also instead of calling sprint call staples in your area and ask them about their rebates on sprint phones.
