orangewhip, just to let you know, it was i who to am a victim of outragis. i have already said enough about this guy. i already reported him to paypal.
OK, I know there was another thread about this and it got closed. But I am another one that Outragis has seemed to screw around. I purchased and paid for 2 external 2.5" USB enclosures from him over 6 weeks ago and I have still not seen not heard anything about the shipment.
The other person that had a thread and a complaint on the board bought his firewire stuff at the same time from the same post in the For Sale or Wanted section of this site.
Normally I do not purchase from people unless I feel somewhat safe in doing so, and with Outragis having about as many posts as I am on this forum I thought it would be a safe bet that I would get my stuff.
Well, I have not. I contacted (PMed) him once a few weeks ago and got a response that was basically told me nothing. And I have since sent him another PM that has gone unreplyed to. Another person comes on here and complains and Outragis posts a message that basically said "Screw You", and then the moderator closed the thread because it was a personal matter and should be dealt that way.
I am here to say it has now happened to me as well, and therefore it is NOT a personal matter but a public one. I am here to warn others NOT to have anything to do with Outragis.
If he "forgot" to send them like he says he did, then he should message or email us this info...but he has not, and I have spent, sorry LOST almost $40CA for the items I purchased, sorry TRIED to purchase.
If I do not hear back from him, or receive my items soon, I will be contacting PayPal and report Fraud against him, or get the contact info and go after him myself (legally).
This is the FIRST time since I have been on the internet that I have not received an item that I paid for, and that is 100s of items in about 8 or so years time.

Yeah, i had a problem with him as well... He held up my group buy by a week and a half with a money order he 'sent' (yes, he had told me he sent it) that i never receieved. And then ignored every message i have sent him.
Well, I don't know about you guys. But really, this is outright theft. I will be getting my lawyer (I already pay him, so it won't costs me anything) to contact PayPal to get his contact information, and then we will go after him legally.
People like this, really **** me off. The ruin everything for everybody else.
good luck... to my understanding though paypal is a pain in the *** to deal with... And to be honest i don't really know if legal action would be worth your time.
Outraigis claimed he was "sending" a money order to me (twice) but after 3 weeks waiting i finally sold my case to another member who was able to show up when he said he would and had money with him.

Well... 12 days later and still nothing from Outragis. He says he shipped it priority usps...which should only take a few days at the most. And I have received nothing. Either has the person who purchased the firewire stuff from him according to a PM I received from him.
And yeah I know people say this is a private thing, well when it happens to more than 1 person, then I don't believe it is.
I would like the admins of this site to permanantly ban Outragis from this site. I have been a member here for years and this is the first time another member has outright screwed another 2 or 3 members on purpose (that I know of).
For now I will have to swallow the loss and go buy the drive enclosures locally, but payback will be in order. I have my lawyers already dealing with Paypal...and we shall hopefully have the contact info soon.
