Wow, I didn't know you could get a case with DC-DC power supply for $80. If that's available, I wonder why there are so many opus group buys.
I dunno, I think it has to do with crank survival and shutdown controllers. That's the case I bought and it comes with everything in the picture above.

this is because the morex power supply is not regulating the power...so it need a regulator...the will take in 9v to 15v. those are hard to come by...opus also makes sure you computer can start and shutdown liek a cd player..key in key out thing...and finally morex will not survive when you start your car...at cranking the pc reboots...unless you get a good regulator that will take in 9v-15v
