Here's our online store policy as per our web site.

    Return / Refund Policy

Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt please contact us immediately after your package arrives for a return authorization claim number. All claims MUST be made within 3 days of receipt of order. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund.

If you get a defective monitor that's dead on arrival we'll pickup the shipping charges to replace the unit with a new unit. Xenarc as the final word on all warranty claims. We will however handle any warranty claims on your behalf.

On the website, the features list for the 700TSV includes:

    *Upgraded High-Brightness CCFL *New*
    *Anti Glare Coating *New*

However, at the bottom of the page, it says that the "Xenarc High Bright Upgrade" (which includes a no-glare coating and a reflective panel) costs an additional $190.

Does the $370 version includes the brightness and no-glare upgrades?
Are the listed brightness specs for the standard or upgraded version?
What is the contrast ratio of the screen?
What are the vertical and horizontal viewing angles?

    Thanks for clarifying...

These features are new compared to the old Xenarc 700TSV that sold through Fall of 2003.

However the High Bright option offers an even better level of brightness and Anti Glare. A third party manualy converts the monitors with a refelctive back screen behind the lCD, a polorized film is installed on the LCD and the Touch Screen panel is treated with an enhanced optical treatment that eliminates more glare than the standard antiglare coating.

The current 7 inch LCD has a brightness of 400 cd/m2 and the touch screen reduces the brightness to 280 cd/m2. I don't have specification for the brightness levels with the high bright option.

In a nutshell the new monitors are brighter and have less glare than the old monitors but they still can be enhanced to give a higher level of brightness and antiglare.

I don't have the specs for contrast ratio or the viewing angles. I d know that the high bright option reduces the horizontal viewing angle.

I'll try and get these specs from Xenarc.

I have yet to see any of the new Xenarc monitors deliverred with dead pixels. However if this should be the case Xenarc internal policy is to replace the monitor.
