If you have an older 700TSV it may be better to upgrade the unit with the High Bright option instead of buying a second unit. We can send in your existing unit for an upgrade. It will then be brighter than the new units at half the price of the current group buy price.

Great deal, now, before i go ahead and jump on this deal, the dimensions, Dimensions: 7.75"W x 4.75"H x 1.38"D

is that for the lcd or the entire unit with the plastic surround as well? If not, what is the dimension with the plastic surround.

yes, it would be brighter, but i can read mine during the day as it is, but it would be nice to have it slightly brighter...
main reasons i'd want to pick up a second would be
    a) usb touch instead of serial- no need for converter
    b) can convert old one into a lcd projector instead of using my el cheapo composite screen from my trunk and i'll have vga

i pretty much can't really pass up the deal.. worst case scenario, if i want really bright, i'll get the newer one upgraded down the line

I'd be interested in how your planing to convert the unit to a LCD projector. Will that be used for a Heads up display?

DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK UNLESS YOU HAVE MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF TIME TO DEVOTE TO YET ANOTHER COOL PROJECT WHICH IS NEVER COMPLETE

Edit: Celica: ima do the same thing with my lilli (if i can ever get it back together right), the starvision will have to be satisfactory in the car. i cant tell if the DIY forum is still alive - cause im not registered there so i cant tell who is around. what kinda setup are you planning on going with? OHP? You seem like the type who would build something like that Ace30000 proj.....
