Thread: FS: 12.1" Bare LCD + Controller + Inverter, all assembled and functioning

This screen is awesome for a carpc. I bought it, powered it up once to test it, and it has been tabled because it does not fit (width) the way i liked. The package includes a Sharp LQ12S31C 12.1" LCD panel, dual backlight, color, resolution 800x600. The VGA LCD controller connects to LCD with a ribbon cable, which means with a long cable you could mount the display anywhere you like, independent of the PC or controller. (that means the mounting depth is less than 1", just the bare LCD - this is what attracted me ot it).

The backlight is a Taiyo Yuden LS520 dual backlight inverter. It comes with the power already wired for a molex connector and it is mounted in an aluminum frame with the controller and backligh inverter (but can be removed to mount in the car).

This system was designed for a kiosk. I also have and will include a Spare LCD panel, same model, still in original packaging, should (god forbid) something happen to the one you install.

This is an awesome deal and perfect for someone with a good sized dash space to use. I am not asking much for it - less than a lilli or xenarc
