This laptop DOES work. The reason I'm getting rid of it is because it doesn't have TV-out and is pretty much useless to me. The power adapter adapter was stolen. I borrowed one from another A20m and when I plugged it in, it wouldn't recharge the battery. So I took the battery from my other A20m and replaced the one in this machine and it worked. I called IBM support and they told me it may be a faulty motherboard. You can get a replacement motherboard for as little as $35 on eBay. And then you can get a new power adapter from there as well. I think those two items will do the trick.
Pentium III processor (not sure how many mhz)
64mb PC100 IBM RAM + 32MB PC100 Kingston (I had laying around)
6.01gb hard drive
24x CD-ROM
(2) PCMCIA ports
12" screen
3.5" Floppy
PS/2, USB, VGA, Serial, Ethernet, Modem, Parallel
Has a Windows 2000 Pro serial on the bottom.
Asking price: $225 shipped (OBO). I honestly have no use for this, and if nobody wants it, it's getting trashed. I am open for trades.
