Have you tried actually contacting Carnetix? I have found that although they say "Out of stock", Mike might have one that he can sell.

Don't mean to offend you, but I don't like the way you are pushing newbies to buy an OPUS psu. The reason of choice for an OPUS or PW psu is 100% dependable of what a so called newbie needs and what budget he has. I do not use an OPUS, and I don't need it at all. My setup runs very smooth, and I do not require it to survive cranks. I saved *a lot* of dollars (and I'm not on a low budget) but I used it for more valuable stuff. So please, try to be objective and share the knowledge to these newbies so they can make there own wise decisions.

As I said, didn't mean to offend you at all with this reply.

No Offense taken, but I was making fun of that statement myself. If you look, you'll see that it is attached to the fellow looking for a power supply posted above mine.

I'll admit that I've gotten sick of all the newbies posting about their power/cranking/regulations issues. The Opus (although expensive) is idea for many people.

However, the new carputer project I'm currently working on cannot use an Opus because I need to make it easily work outside the automobile. A CarNetix regulator would be much more effective in this case.
