New price: $210 shipped.
Hey guys, I have a BRAND NEW 2004 SAVV LBM-X5000 5" SECURITY REAR VIEW MIRROR MONITOR for sale. I purchased it thinking that I would use it but I lied to myself. I originally purchased it from Custom Distributing for $299 but am getting rid of it for $210 OBO shipped because I'm tight on cash :\. Here are some pictures of the unit:

Here's what it looks like when it's connected (this is not my picture, I never installed mine):

Once again, this is a BRAND NEW 2004 item, NEVER USED. I looked at it many times though. Includes remote, 2 AV inputs, and other cool stuffs. PM me with any questions.
I prefer paypal payments, but money order or cashier's check is fine too.

The screen comes with a wireless remote and a reverse remote trigger. The screen with automatically switch source to AV1 (CAMERA setup) when you switch your car into reverse if you want that feature set-up in your car. If you don't want that feature, you don't have to setup the reverse remote trigger and it will act like a monitor with 2 AV inputs that you can switch (eg. Dreamcast or carcomputer)
The wireless remote (which is as small as a pioneer credit-card remote) can control the inputs as well as the volume (yes, it has a built-in speaker)
AND YES, OF COURSE it is a mirror when the monitor is off. Since the monitor is on the left side of the mirror, it can still be used a mirror when the monitor is on, only that you can't see in the 5" portion of the screen...that's it.

Does anyone have one of these Mirror Monitors installed with their carputers? It's kind of a cool idea but I'm afraid that the screen size is too small.
Too small!? Oh my...it's a 5" screen on your rearview mirror. That's a huge screen. The lilliputs and xenarcs are 7" and this one is just 2" smaller...ON YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR! That's a massive monitor. I included a picture of it installed in someone else's car...take a look at that.Originally Posted by manielse
If you're looking into this monitor being your primary monitor...then it may be too small...but if it's for passengers or for yourself to just sit back and relax to watch a movie on or some winamp visualizations on...this is definitely the monitor to go for. Although it can be a primary monitor...it would be best if it's your secondary...just my opinion.
I have one installed... It is a monitor I use for rear view camera only. I have av1 set up for always on (so I can leave it on when driving and eliminate my blind spot completely - also useful when you are transporting things!) - av2 is set up for auto-reverse-trigger as mentioned above. This is wonderful because of its simplicity. You can be in a parking lot, kid runs behind your vehicle... you can picture the rest!)Originally Posted by manielse
Anyway, I have a slightly different model then the one above, but it is also a SAVV.
