FS Sherwood dts processor and matching amp.

Im in desperate need of money. I really really hate parting with this because it wold be so perfect for my mobile pc setup. Its a sherwood dts 5.1 processor with matching amp. This is the perfect compliment to any system without a headunit. The processor does have volume control and many other features. Although the unit has never been used, I did open it to see if I could relocate the faceplate since i didnt have any room. Put the screws back and in that 5 minutes, I managed to loose the knob. lol. Ill try and find one at radioshack or a local electronics place. Im sure theyll have one. And tonight is the first time I turned it on. Was probably a bad idea since it just made it that much harder to sell. Anyway...

    A review of the amp
The new six-channel AX-6275 amplifier by Sherwood can boost power in any mid-sized to large car audio system--including subwoofers--with room to spare. One nice touch is the use of coveted gold-plated connections for easy, distortion-free hook-up. Other features include 4 gauge connectors, thermal protection circuit, and short circuit protection. This amp is built to perform and not shut down, but it is a little pricey. However, an amateur, competition-minded audiophile may not mind paying for this level of quality. This unit's 275 watts of power creates pure sound reproduction--even with factory-level speakers. It is mountable in a variety of locations, including under a seat or in the trunk. This amplifier fits easily in most any vehicle, foreign or domestic. Optimally, this amp would be used with the Sherwood XCM-7370 CD Receiver and XDTS-80 decoder.

    Pictures

The amp has never been used or opened. Due to the nature of mobile electronics, all sales are final. If you dont trust me, check out my ebay profile. That should speak for itself. I can put it on there if you like some protection. 250 Shipped anywhere in the us.

What you see in the picture is what you get. Ill try and find the mounting hardware for this. I think I know where it is, not sure though. I also saw on another post that this came with a trim ring. I dont remember it ever having one on mine but ill try and look for that too.

Its 275 rms. I have no idea what it sounds like since I never installed it. The power should be more than enough for the surround speakers. Its 35x5 plus 100x1 for the sub. I really hate parting with it but my closing is on the 20th and I need all the money I can get. 220 Shipped anywhere in the united states if anyone is interested.

Can the processor be used by itself? What kind of inputs and outputs are one there? Would I be able to use this with my carputer, 4 channel amp, and mono subwoofer amp?

Yes it can. It has one analog input, two digital spdif. 6 outputs front left right center, back right and left, and subwoofer. Meddler I need a city or postal code to check for pricing.

Don't let the wattage rating fool you, that amp is a beast, I understand people want "loud" systems, but you can make a high effieciency subwoofer sound very clean and loud with 100 watts, I can only imagine how good that setup would sound once installed! Free bump for you.
