    To 500Mhz supposedly . . .
    To windows XP Possibly . . .
I haven't really messed with them yet. Too busy.

I've collected a bit of info about them but mostly just from this thread. Mine came with nothing but the units themselves. Your best resource will be this thread at least until I'm formally selling them.

You can get a variable powersupply from radio shack to run it. It is really easy to mod to get it to work.

The only upgade that will make a difference, is putting more ram in. I think it maxed out at 128, but I am not sure.

Also, the harddrive is maxed out at 6GB, you can not put a bigger drive in. But you can run a second drive though a USB, speed is enough for playing mp'3s.

All this info can be found by doing a search on the forum. There have been some actual incar installs of this, and there are pictures. I did not use it in the car, because the touchscreen was not that great, the screen was not bright enough, and it was an overall weak machine.

However, I did screw it to my wall, wirelessly link it to my desktop and play mp3's through there.

It worked okay, but had more potential.

    Cheers.

    Interesting info. Thanks again NovaKane.
Why couldn't you put a bigger laptop drive in it? Win98 issue or some sort of actual hardware limitation?

many a time in older hardware, the motherboard has a limit set in the bios for the hard drive (not changable )
