Thumbs up FS: SLIM Slot-Loading DVD/CDRW Drive

Still for sale: slim slot-load DVD/CDRW drive comes with the laptop-to-ide converter and ide-to-usb2.0 converter. This drive also works flawlessly and has NEVER BEEN USED. Asking for $115 shipped as well, all of it cost me $125.

This is an actual picture of what it looks like:

Does it work only powered from the USB port, or does it still need extra power?

it needs an extra 5v power (which can be supplied by the molex connector for the floppy drive). There is a port for the floppy drive power to connect to.

I think you could pull the +5v wire from he usb plug and hook it to the drive.
