    FS: Bunch of carputer parts (opus, mobo, amd2000xp, ram, etc)

    PARTS ARE NO LONGER FOR SALE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INQUIRIES.

    selling a bunch of carputer parts.. would like to sell all as one... since an opus without a carputer is worthless... but might be willing to sell seperately, especially if most of the parts are sold.

    opus - $180.

    amd athlon xp 2000+ - $50. - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...103-383&depa=1 -< that's a direct link to what I bought.

    shuttle mobo with nforce onboard video, audio, lan, 256MB stick of ram (want to sell as package, not seperately) - $70. I think the RAM is CRUCIAL... it's definatley quality stuff though.. not the superfast stuff, but quality.

    edit: here's a link to the mobo -> http://us.shuttle.com/specs.asp?pro_id=250

    I'd like to also sell that xp 2000+ WITH the mobo, just to make things easier.

    I have a case, but it's been cut up and mangled to fit into my car.. worthless basically, but if you buy some of this other stuff, and pay an extra bit of money for shipping, you can have the case too.

    if you want the whole package, serperatly it'd be $300.. it's yours for $280 shipped.

    Everything works great, I just need money.

    Paypal accepted (please don't plan on paying by credit card through paypal). Thanks.

    edited: added link to mobo

    I think it's great.. haven't compared it directly to any of the NEW cards out there, but compared to the older SB Live card (on old computer), sounds as good, if not better. Supposedly the nvidia chipset has some of the best onboard sound out there.

    oh and hey, if anyone wants to do a trade, namely a notebook/laptop computer... non-working LCD is fine! (and no it's not for replacing this carputer, more for an in-home setup).

    used VERY sparingly for around 5 months now... most of my driving is a 5 mile drive to work.. not as many long trips as I originally thought, so need of a carputer has decreased a bit.. realistically it's been used for like 15-20 hours of total use.

    and sorry I should've been more specific about the opus, it's the 150W.. I don't know about the shuttle pc part.. I don't think it'll work with shuttle? Sorry I can't answer this question better.

    yup the system works just fine. I'm not including hard drive or cd-rom though, so you're on your own for those. But with black friday just passing, I'm sure half of you got a hard drive for $20 after rebates

    But the opus works just fine with this motherboard, as does the cpu and the ram.

    And I should have noted, it has onboard USB 2.0 (6 ports for some reason, but hey, doesn't hurt to have too many), and onboard Firewire.
