Yeah, I'm using a regular 40gb 5400rpm drive right now, its ok. I have to defrag it every night like 2 times in order to keep it running at optimum performance, but my carputer is rockin. I dont think I'll have to use it, cause the carputer is being mounted in the glove compartment, so weight isn't that much of a problem.
