Trade for P4 2.6 533fsb processor?
These are basically small, low power laptops (minus battery, keyboard) with 10.4" XGA LCDs with touchscreens made by a company called Gold King. They're old, but I dont think they've really ever been used.
specs:
400mhz celerons
10.4" 1024x768 LCD
MicroTouch brand touchscreen (connected via serial)
64mb ram (32mb onboard, 1 slot with a 32mb stick of notebook memory)
6gb 2.5" hard drive
windows 98 (including unopened win98se cd/license)
TV tuner
2 PCMCIA slots (including a PCMCIA ethernet card)
1 USB
2 PS/2
Stereo Out
Line In (on the motherboard inside)
VGA out (also on the inside of the case)
pics:
They measure about 14x10x4", but much of that is because of the [heavy] metal case. You could probably make a MUCH smaller case and be fine.
There's a large thread here at mp3car about them here.
cliffs from that thread:
-The LCD supports LVDS, so it might be compatible with motherboards supporting LVDS (such as several VIA Epia boards)
-They say they require 24v @ 3A, but work fine with 24v @ 2A (PSU is included)
-There is an external floppy drive connector on the motherboard
-No one has gotten the touchscreen and tv tuner working with winXP
-RAM upgrades are possible
-The IDE controller supports two IDE devices, so if you can find a cable adapter, you can use two notebook IDE devices at once
