Run to your nearest target if you are looking for a cheap amp

just purchased two (none left, sorry) Jensen A34XP at Target store at University square in Tampa for $39.99 each. The box says 340 Watts and 1 Yr warranty.

If you are looking for a cheap replacement for the stereo, then i guess this should do it. Reviews are at http://www.cardomain.com/item/JENA34XP which sound very good for the price.

    RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 60W x 2 @ 14.4V
So more then likely only about 50Watts a side for everyday use but still not bad for that price.

You can get that out of most aftermarket headunits.

well how often do you get a decent aftermarket headunit for $39?......also "most" after market headunits are around RMS: 22watts x4.......this is 170 watts bridged at 4 ohm, and for $39 that is not bad at all......cant hook up subs and have them hit that hard to many after market headunits

That is about right for a price on a Jensen amp. Keep an eye on pepboys when they blow out all thier Jensen stuff at the end of the year.

Do you have all the spec's on it. I guess my point is a head unit does a lot more than a amp and still could give you similar power output. Of course not the bridged rating. Still I'm sure that jensen's features are lacking and if it doesn't have hi or low pass filter I wouldn't touch it. That's just personal preference. Now it is something I'd get for my g/f or something like that. I'm not saying it isn't a good price because it will allow someone to get in the game if they don't really want to spend a lot of money.

But a head unit with an Aux in is going to run you far more than $39. As for it having a high or low pass filter? It's a $39 amp. I'd say your lucky if it's bridgeable.

I didn't even click the link. After reading the spec's this I believe $39 is a great deal for someone with basic car audio needs.
