hey seriously interested, dibbs! you have pm![]()
Hi all,
I bought this baby to use as a DVR, but it turns out the TV card I have requires software based encoding. The 1 Ghz on this thing is great for GPS, DivX, DVD, MP3, etc, but it can't render MPEG-2 streams in real time. Which is a bummer because it is REALLY quiet. Anyway, you all know the deal about the EPIA M10000 board, but if you don't, click here. Basically, it is a 7" x 7" board with a 1 Ghz Processer and Fan already built in, a PCI slot, a 184 pin DDR Ram slot, VGA and TV video out onboard, 5.1 surround/SPDIF out, USB2.0, Firewire, and onboard LAN, all built in.
The bios has been flashed to the latest (1.16), which allows you to set TV/CRT/LCD display options in the bios config. I have the original box and cables (see below). I dont have the manual or driver CD, but both are available in online from the link above. If it is an issue, i can DL the latest drivers and burn a CD for you.
So here's a pic of the board (next to a small water bottle, for reference):
Here is the original box, the floppy/IDE cables, and the USB/Firewire headers (to give you two more USB ports and 2 Firewire (1394) ports):
It was purchased for $169 at frys, and Monarch Computers is selling it for $150. Im asking $130 shipped to the US. I take paypal. Make an offer if you want. PM me or post here.
Thanks!
