    FS: P4 2.66Ghz Socket 478

    upgraded cpu in my home computer. this one is in great condition. never oc'd.

    Is this a Northwood 800 FSB?
    2K SVT Lightning, Some things and the usual truck pc, now with slot load dvd rom and ECM Data logging.

    2.66 would imply it has 533Mhz FSB. But there is a 2.6 800Mhz cpu. Guess its best to wait for themolt to clarify.

    I never spent much time figuring out the Intel chips, it's nowhere near as fun as figuring out just how fast your 2000+ AMD is... 200 fsb ..266fsb.. 333, possibly 400, 800 or even 1600!
    Seriously though let me know, also is it a Presscott?

    how old is said processor? i have a 2.8 and wouldnt mind a downgrade to save some power in the car...
