    Lilliput w/ Motorized Housing

(Image is not the actual unit.)

    It's this motorized housing: http://digitalww.com/IH002.htm
With this (Lilliput) touchscreen monitor: http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...products_id=33

I'm not going to lie to you guys. I hate this motorized housing. The paint practically flakes off when you handle it. Once in while it does something weird like open up only half way. The worst part is that it does not fit in my car properly. When I installed it, I had to bend the corners of its sheet metal casing so it wouldn't hit my A/C controls and I have to park in 2nd gear to leave room for it to open. I've decided I'm just going to mold a screen into my dash.

Now, most of these problems can be fixed. The case can be primed and painted with a higher quality paint to match the car, which would look very nice (Not that I think this is definitely necessary). The corners can be bent back with a pair of pliers (these are the corners behind the top of the screen). And it only opened half way for me maybe once every two weeks if that.

Other than these problems, this thing is really, really cool to watch open and close. People love it when they see it in your car. Had it fit properly in my car, I would definitely have worked out the issues and kept it.

This comes with all the accessories (egg, remote, video cables, etc.) which were never used.

Click here to download a video of it in action.
(If it doesn't open, just save it and change the extension to .avi)

    $400 shipped or best offer.

    Audigy 2 NX
    Sold

This Audigy is in new condition. With the exception of the Audigy itself and the wire leading to the A/C adapter, none of the accessories in the box (remote, cables, etc.) were ever used. The wire going to the A/C adapter was spliced into a molex connector to connect the Audigy to a PC power supply. This is easily reversed if desired.

    $80 shipped or best offer.

    M-Audio Audiophile

This is almost useless for a carputer. I'm just posting it in case someone here is into audio editing or production. To this device's credit though, it sounds absolutely amazing. I heard things in my music that I've never heard before when listening though this. But I got it and found that 1) It's about twice the size of the Audigy 2) It doesn't return any volume information to Windows, meaning the only ways control volume is with the knob on the box itself, or through the application, ie: Winamp or Windows Media 3) IT'S ******* A/C. If you have a fully DC setup like mine, you need an inverter. For the sound this thing produces, I was willing to deal with all the problems except for the last one. I'm not putting an inverter in my car when I have an Opus.

Actually, now that I think about it, if you run your sound though a head unit and power your machine through an inverter, this might be a good choice.

It's about a week old. All accessories included.

    $120 shipped or best offer.

Thanks boynextdoor. But in the future, when you say "He's a good guy, you can trust him," don't follow it up with ellipses. People probably think I'm an assassin now.

In that case, I'm going to assume you're a wizard, a PC and an animated jackass.
