Modded Xenarc 20-pin Monitor Cable

Xenarc 6-foot 20-pin cable. This is the original cable that came with my Xenarc 700TSV. I modified it by taking off the plastic covering on the end of the cable and covering it with black electrical tape. The pictures show the cable and the mod I did.

$18 + $3 S/H takes it!

I don't understand why you modded it? What was the purpose/benifits?
