Pss... releasing the finalized curcuit today. http://www.nonamestudios.com/PPUNICURCUIT.gif There is absolutely no surge protection in this curcuit. When added in surge protection too much power was being drawn and caused more problems. So as long as your head unit or carputer don't decide to short curcuit you'll be fine.

I will be hopefully posting the software soon. As I found out during further testing, different models of motherboards effect timing and depending on if you are running windows or dos will effect timing.

mike, you say you made an aux in cable, but can you control your computer with your buttons on your radio (next, ffwd etc) becouse i think that is what ashawln is making.

You get the cookie gerard_NL. Thats what you should be able to do. Also, the computer will send out the song titles to have them be displayed on the head unit. (Still working on it.)

Its not really that complicated, as long as you got some basic info on Unilink or other IP Buses protocols it matter of connecting the data line to your serial port and listening to the commands that your deck send out...
What i would to know is where did you get info about the Bus protocols...
I was trying to do something similar with Pioneer IP Bus but cant find any info about it. Well only thing that i really need to now is how to trick the unit to think it has a stacker connected to it so it would go in to stacker mode... the rest should be easy.
