Yep thats right. Im willing to pay someone to put together a full package for me where I can just wire it in the car and press the ON button (or however it works). Let me tell you a little bit about my car. I have a Mitsubishi Evo 8. Reason why I need a computer system in the car is for my AEM Engine Managment System. That is the main concern. Secondly I need to obviously play music and movies. So im gonig to need something fast and reliable. Wireless G would be a plus as well along with a really big hdd. I'd like a touch screen LCD where I can take something like a stylus and tap on what i want. I already have a mobile keyboard with touchpad mouse - so that will work out well. If you are one of the guys that want to make some money on building me this sytem pls PM me or msg me on AIM (RedFLEVO84) or you can email me at afrikandesi@gmail.com Thank you very much

unless you want to drop your car off in atlanta for a week or two, and toss me about $3500 to research the options you want, buy equipment for you, install everything, and provide support untill you leave the driveway....
but I would suggest saving my outrageous rate, and
1. buying a PC with the features you want from mp3car store, along with power supply and everything else you may need
2. Loading up your choice of OS, front end, and support software
3. calling your local car stereo installers to find out if they have anyone there knowledgeable enough to do the job.
Is this where the witty comment goes?97 Black pearl Mazda Miata MX-5 Carpc V2? maybee..
Drop me an email, I can get something goin'
You can still have something if you have nothing
Listen the installation i can do. I just need the PC and all hardware necessary. The fabrication i will take care of.
I talked to Evo on line. I think he wants more power than the VIA systems can push, because he wants to play movies. Anyways, I think he's a bit shy of doing the AMD wire mod for the Asus.
I highly recommend the Pentium Sonoma/Dothan boards that Aopen makes, they are amazing! I love mine. It is very powerful and cool. I connected my 1.8hz board up to the amp meter and registered 4.4A at 12V (53W) while watching video. This is with two hard drives, CDROM, wireless card, tv/fm card, Audigy ZS2 sound card, 512 Ram. It handles everything I throw at it...
Well reason for starting this thread is so that I need someone to build me this system. I need the computer in its enclosure with all hardware pre done. All I need to do is wire it up to the battery and find a place to bolt in the computer. Nobdoy has still ofered me what I need. remember im paying!!!
