I have a 97 540i. Im going away for 2 weeks next week, ill be back 1st week of august. If you still have everything by the end of the 12th of august still, i will buy it for that price.

How exactly does the Ibus controller work? Do you just plug it in and bam you have steering wheel controls?

How much for the bezel, monitor, dvd drive, ibus, and sven4 shipped to southern cali?

I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT (dont worry, the carputer was not in the car) hit a deer at 50mph... I was the only one in the car, and was not injured

$600 shipped, but you need to wait till I get all this crap sorted out with the car accident I had last night (once again, the caputer was not in the car), I will let you know, as of now you have first dibs on these items...

It comes with software to map the steering wheel controls to keystrokes... just search these forums.. there is tons of info, do a search for " RR i-bus" to get the software that works with road runner.

it plugs in under the amrest (if you have a wire there for phone) or in the trunk where the cd changer wires are. but ya, pretty much you plug it in, load the software, and it works (for road runner, other software you need to config keystrokes)

dibs noted, I will let you know when the sale resumes....

the active extension cable has a usb powered repeater on the female side of the cable(basically a 1 port hub), and yes, its usb 2.0 . I used this on my dvd/cdrw drive.
