this is a European phone with video and all the bells and whistles! full software and cables, along with a factory Motorola case, not branded
not locked to any system. unlike yours which is tatooed with cingular inside and out! check ebay for a non cingular black razr and se what you got, granted they have come down a little this past month...ok $275. shipped! for all.
    O.K. Now it's a great deal.

Yes. They do. I was impressed though with the fact that while surfing using GPRS, the phone rang through. I am very glad it doesn't act like a lanline in that respect.

hmmm u sure? I'm gonna try again but I'm pretty sure GSM phones cant do data transfers at the same time as a voice call through GPRS. it has to do with voice and data being carried, you can do either one or another... i dunno i may be outdated in my info, but I'll try and let yall know...

No contract, nothing.....got it through my business account with work. My phone was stolen so I decided to upgrade from my Sony Ericsson, which by the way wouldn't let more than one BT connection. I have a 50% hardware discount, which would have brought the phone down to $100, but they said they couldn't sell it for less than $200.

Yes, it's Cingular...and locked to their network. What software and other "good stuff" is out there for this phone? Take it easy, I didn't realize the phone was so locked down.

My Dad keeps winning these things, but I don't see the thrill. Other than the bragging rights(?) of buying an absurdly expensive phone, what justifies spending hundreds of dollars on something you just talk on?? I don't get it.

I am using something that resembles a less expensive version of the i850, which was the hand me down from my dad. He was even complaining to Motorola because they have eliminated some of the ease of use of the previous versions/phones. Yet featurewise, he says they are almost identical. Other than mine being like an ounce heavier (oh no! This 4.5oz phone is really slowing me down!), which to me is an advantage, because mine is too bloody light as it is, what the heck is worth several hundred dollars more??? Is it the name?
