This antenna cover is from bimmian.com (the unpainted black M3 style one shown above)
It is exactly the one shown on this page. http://www.bimmian.com/SHF/OT/1
It is the unpainted version and comes with the adhesive on the bottom. I literally recieved it from them yesterday, but when placing it on the top of my car, realized that it does not look good at all on my specific car. The bottom removes with 3 screws, and it should be able to house a bu-303 or holux gm-210 (possibly others) removed from their case. Others have mentioned doing the same. I did not even try since it does not look very good on my vehicle.

You can mount it however you want. The smaller M3 style one comes with 3m double sided tape. You can mount the X3 style one the same way, or use urethane, silicone, or similar adhesive so that it is water tight, yet removable.
If you do not have a hole in your roof, you can notch the back of either of them and run the wires out the back, and again, silicone the notch to keep it water tight.
do you know where you get covers for an xm antenna

Can you get me the internal size of the small black one. I need to know if my reciever will fit inside it..
It's 40m x 63mm x 22mm......1.57" x 2.48" x 0.86"
And if it's big enough, shipping cost/weight to the UK.
Thanks....
