FS: 10.4 ELO SAW IntelliTouch Glass Touchscreen w/o Controller $80 O/B

Exactly what the titles said. Im selling it for really cheap this panel sell for about $150. It has a chip at the corner but is in perfect working condition I tested it yesterday. It doesnt not have a controller but i know motorcity has a controller for this for about $60 i think. so you could have a complete set up with the state of the art in touchscreen. Reason for selling is i have the exact same one and i wont need it. let me know email me if you have any question

    Cool

I will take 45.00 shipped (USA) for the matching controller to David's touch panel. I sold him his setup, and the controller I am offering here is the same unit he used with the touch panel for sale. ELO Serial SAW controller, model # CTR 2500S. Requires 5v power. I will include a 6 ft. db9 cable. 30 days no DOA applies.
Paypal with Confirmed Address or USPS Money Order.

    Cool

    Here are some pictures.
The SAW 10.4" touch panel is one of mine, but is identical to what SilverGT is selling (minus the chip)
I am NOT selling the touch panel here, only the controller. Just included the pic for reference.
The pictures of the controller are what you will get.

This chip is outside the active area of the touch panel and should not affect operation at all.

If it was a resisitive it would, as they usually have embedded tracks between the glass sheets.

I post this for the noobs, would not want them to think that chips didnt matter in all cases/version of screen.

True, to a point. What you refer to is style of touch assembly is usually found in the very low cost 4 wire resistives, used in the cheap 7-8" monitors that ebay is flooded with. Sun Tai is a maker of such panels. A quality 4, 5, or even 7 wire resistive panel from makers such as ELO, Dynapro or Microtouch (the latter 2 now owned by 3m) do not use the layed assembly, but are glass with the touch substrate applied on top and within the boundry of the filiments. In this case, the outer edges are never active and as such, a small chip will not hurt the operation.
