That is true also, that's why I said that insisting on NON-CREDIT CARD payments can sometimes be an indication, not always. I guess we all have to be careful when buying over the internet, I've been lucky so far and never been burned.

credit card payment charge extra 3 percent of the total for the seller. if he never accepts cc payments than they dont take the percentage.

O.K. I retract my previous statement, I typed before I thought....

I have been lurking for a while and read about several people that got burned and it was never resolved so it has made me a little leary about buying from members who are not well established, hell I wouldn't buy from ME, given my number of posts.

are you sure about that? I pay 2.9% either way, cc, funds, or bank draw.
I have a premire business account, but do they charge a personal acount more?

Just a heads up to any potential buyer or seller using Paypal here or ebay, or anywhere. Paypal's updated TOS (11-05) now says a seller must accept credit card payments, no matter what type of account you have. Saying you won't accept CC payments won't fly anymore. People used to hide behind that statement since you had no recourse if you got scammed.
