NEW FLASH -- NEWS FLASH -- NEWS FLASH -- NEWS FLASH

I was able to shake the NiteMax tree this morning and knock loose several boxes full of goodies! I haven't looked closely, so I'll need to follow up with better information late this evening. The preliminary results are...

Procrastination is good -- patience is your friend...
Since I only just started assembling the NiteMax cameras last night, a special opportunity has presented itself. EVERYONE WILL BE GETTING UPGRADED TO A COLOR CCD! Yup, you heard it right... All 20 will include a color CCD. (Unless you tell me you don't want it!)

    AC Power Adapters O-plenty
These are the good strong ones.

    Battery Chargers
For the few who will use betteries.

Automobile Cigarette Lighter Adapter / Battery Simulator
I think there's some more of these. (Maybe)

CCD Boards with CS-Mount Adapter attached
This is the CCD board that takes 12v DC in and spits out a nice video signal from the original NiteMax.

CCD Boards with 2x Digital Zoom.
Also accepts 12v DC and spits out a video signal.

Color CCD Boards with 2x Digital Zoom.
Accepts 12v DC and spits out COLOR video.

    What's not here?...
The limiting factor that continues to be a problem is the lack of power supply boards. For this reason alone, there will be no more completely assembled NiteMax cameras.

I know a bit about the Power Supply Board and you can make everything work by using a substitute. If you can provide a regulated source of 12-Volts DC (like from a computer Power Supply) you have everything you need to operate the CCD and LCD. An adjustable supply is needed to have adjustable IR, but running the IR full-blast all the time might not be so bad! With a little creativity, you can have all of the NiteMax functionality!

Very cool, Mark! Is there any disadvantage to a color CCD board? Does it harm the NiteMax's range or performance?

    Thanks,

gotta love patience! Go mark! If you lived closer, i'd knock down every box you had to help you see what was inside, esp the fragile ones.
