All that is needed is a 12v DC power supply. This needs to be a good 12v and not a dirty or noisy 12v. With this supply, all of the important NiteMax parts will work!Originally Posted by at_b
ok, in case i can t get a full working cam, i ll have some of these anyway to play with.Originally Posted by NiteMax Mark
getting a clean 12 v won t be a really big problem. i ll wait until you ve sent all the cams out ot see if there are any full ones for me, if not ill see about these incomplete ones. if i'm right in understanding, you ve got plenty of nitemax s without power supply so it won't be a contest, right?
thank
If there's anyone asking for additional CCD Camera Boards, I am postponing those requests until I can describe what I've got. There's some mechanical considerations depending on which one you want. For example, I don't have the adapter that allows the CCDs with 2X zoom to attach directly to a lens. Only with the NiteMax housing will this be possible. Also, I don't have the tiny cable and connector that lets you access the pin for the 2x zoom feature. Either you'd need to do brain surgery to attach a wire, or get the connector from somewhere else. (Or, forget about the zoom function!) Ironically, the LCDs with LCD Controllers that I'm selling DO have this connector.
For the CCDs like the ones many have bought inside NiteMax cameras, I have the part that lets you join the CCD Camera Board directly to the lens but I don't have any screws. I have (finally) identified the tiny metric screw that fits but I haven't ordered any yet.
Thankfully, I have located cables and connectors that carry 12v to the Camera Board and the video signal out.
good news mark, looking forward to more info when you ve got it![]()
Recieved package today.
How do I power the LCD (Which wires do I connect) and will this lens:

work directly with my camera?
