I think I posted a link to the lens I got. It said f1.2 but they send me an f1.4 lens. Its a wide angle. I like that.

Mark,
Can you post the list who got the 5 remaining camera's? I'm still holding my breath hoping I got in in-time (I think i'm #3 not counting any pm's..)
thanks![]()
There's at least eight requests for the remaining five cameras! Before I deal with any of those, I better take care of the first twenty.Originally Posted by dtran01

I got my camera like 3 days ago but I being waiting on the lens to start playing with it![]()
ohh and BTW I got the same lens than boris and I know now the adress of the place so I can go and get a diferent one if this one doesn't work right. (place is here in miami)

The f-number isn't the one that tells you how much the lens will see. This number is more like the quality of the lens -- its light gathering capability.Originally Posted by rev2
If you paid for f/1.2 and you got f/1.4, you got a lens of lower capability than advertised.
The focal length is in "mm" -- I think you said it was 2.5mm. This will tell you how much area it can see. 2.5mm would make it more like a "fish eye" lens. 8mm is the one that is neither zoom or fish-eye. 12mm is 1.5x magnification and 16mm is 2x magnification.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I did inform the guy that he shipped out the wrong one.Originally Posted by NiteMax Mark
Hey Mark I think you should go by the first to request list you have. I know I must be 1 of the first people (p6-7)
just got my camera.....and all i can say is WOW!.....this thing is hot. I was expecting something i'd had to tinker with forever to get to work right......nope.....plugged it in.....beatiful color image. Works great in daylight.......and awesome in the dark. Can't wait til it gets darker here.
edit: the box was so light......i was expecting it just to have the lens in it
