I've tried all sorts of custom timings, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Something very strange is that my geforce 6600 doesnt have the csync or sync on green options in powerstrip.. Very odd.

I think the csync circuit by MatrixPC is the best bet:

What polarity is the HSYNC and VSYNC you've got?

any details on the adjustment needed to this lens

would like to know before i buy one
In the picture there's a silver post for locking the focus in one place. Adjacent to this post are two black phillips-head screws that are flush with the lens body. (One is barely visible.)

The outer portion of the lens is screwed in and out to focus. Internally, there's a stop that keeps you from unscrewing the lens completely!

The problem I saw was some of the lenses would reach this internal stop before perfect focus could be achieved with some of the cameras.

It turns out that the two black screws could be backed out almost all the way and this would remove the stop. All I had to do was lift up the screws far enough to let the stop mechanism pass by and then re-tighten them once I had turned it past. The effect was that I re-calibrated the lens by adding one turn worth of adjustment at one end of the focus range at the expense of one turn at the other end of the range.

After discovering this feature of these lenses, I really liked them.

    Thanks,

Mark - any chance you have any batteries/chargers?

Chargers -- a ton of 'em. Batteries... NO.

    Recommended Batteries

If someone wants to collect together a list of people wanting a battery and a charger...

I'll do a bulk purchase, add the charger for nothing and ship them to you for cost.

I'll do the same for lenses if they are all included in the same package.

If someone wants to organize a list, I'll make the group buy as long as there is a minimum of 10 batteries and 10 lenses. (The hard part will be getting everyone to agree on lenses!)

With luck, we'll be able to get these three items to you from three sources for the cost of shipping from only one source. Plan on $12 or so for the battery, $10 or so for the lens and the charger. Shipping is probably less than $6 but I'll try to get it lower if I can.

Anyone want to organize the list?
