I think the best bet will be for the f/1.6 lenses. I had good experience with them. If we can all agree on a focal-length, that'll be the big hurdle. The understanding is that we'll get the best f/number we can for around $10 to $15 each lens.

what about the car adapter? No more of those? IMO, for the car, it was a little better than the battery since it doesn't require recharging, although the cord was a little annoying.

I just got my lenses in the mail from (GESS) ebay yesterday! The camera is amazing! I got a 2.5mm F1.4, 2.8mm F1.4 (this one though I will have to adjust by backing out the two black screws in order to get it focused), and a 4mm F1.2 lens. the 2.5 and 4 looked great immediately. Yeah, ebay shipping does suck for something like this thats why I bought three lenses. I'm not sure which one I like best though. Wouldn't these be better than F1.6 (the ones youre trying to get) Mark?

Also, I thought it was responding to my input without pin4 being tied, but it wasn't.. I have it tied to 12v now, and its displaying image (like you see above) however I'm having trouble getting it to display properly.. an odd thing is that pressing the GAIN button on the LCD actually causes the image to stabilize on the vertical axis
So GAIN being active fixes the vertical rolling? Have you tried probing around with a multimeter to see what's the different with it on vs off? You might not be able to get enough info from a MM, but it's worth a shot.

Does GAIN being active actually effect the look of the screen when inputting a signal this way?

    Hey Greenman,

Count me in for a lens. Not really too picky about any specs, just prefer a wide angle of some kind.

    Thanks!
