it works great isnide the passenger compartment, but, baed on what i've seen during' tonight's test, you'll need a wide angel lens and an IR illuniator somewhere outside. Protect it though, fro two reasons...which will be covered in the review. Gotta do some pics and i'll make the final movie tomrrow night. Just too tired, have too much work to do, and in a good bit of pain to finish.

The only live auction I could get to said there were only two left.. is there still a chance for me? I need to talk to my bank on monday to make my paypal work, and by then it'll be too late.
Okay folks, there's good news and bad news...
The bad news is that a buyer I've worked with in Germany has seen the rapid sales and has made a bulk purchase of the remaining 50 NiteMax cameras I have left.
This development has come at a bad time because I see how excited everyone is about these, and I see how they fit very well with your needs.
The good news is that I THINK I have enough parts to assemble maybe 20 more! The even better news is that I think I can put together 20 of the Ultra NiteMax cameras that have 2x digital zoom built in! (The buyer in Germany doesn't want these!)
I also have tons of the LCD half of the NiteMax for anyone who wants to make tiny little color video monitors out of them. Provide video from another camera and you are in business!
Because of everyone's overwhelming interest here, I am going to make these available exclusively for mp3car members!
Over the next several days I will need to firm-up the number I have available and find a way to ration them out if there's more interest beyond these 20 units.
There's also a tiny little sliver of a chance that I can go back to the original source of these and try to buy whatever remaining inventory they might have. I am not too optimistic that this will work, but I am going to approach them and see what they have to say. We'll cross our fingers...
Will the small LCds take RCA in?
do what you gotta do. Just know, after taking apart the camers and seeing wthat these LCDs can do, i'm going to need two more!
BTW...i hit page 4 of text, no pics...and i'm not done. I ahve the first vid done...but it needs to be edited as there was a slight mishap...of running over the sidewalk...
