Okay got the 800ma selectable voltage brick with tip B. It's putting out 9.3V when set to 9 but when connected to either camera the LCS looks partially lit but shows no picture and after 20-30 seconds starts to "blink". Both cameras do the same thing so I doubt its a camera issue, do you think it's the power supply?
Might be, you might have to go up to the 1500 mA that we sell. I tried the 800mA in my store on the NiteMaxx and it worked great, in fact I'm looking at it right now. Take your camera by and try another one, if it doesn't work then the 1500mA will. There is about a 5 buck difference between the two.

I know how the NiteMax Power Supply works. It can handle up to 13v without hurting it.
It draws constant power from the adapter so drawing 800mA at 9v means it will use more like 600mA at 12 volts. You may find that this is the difference you need!
If it accepts 12v, then I suggest just powering it off the PSU rails. :P
Does the NiteMax have reverse voltage protection? Not that I've done that yet.
I just changed the wart for a 12v 1500ma one and it works great now.
Well, the list is officially full!Originally Posted by spaceskater
I have collected together parts for 20 cameras -- all in black. I am waiting on boxes from USPS for shipping. I am planning on using Priority Mail because it is faster and includes the box -- otherwise I'd need to buy them at an Office Supply store somewhere. I can also print postage at home and drop them at the Post Office without waiting in line. I'm guessing it will be next weekend before it all comes together.
The cost will be $20 for the NiteMax plus the actual cost of Priority mail. You can expect something in the $4 to $8 range depending on how much additional stuff goes into the box. I have the following additional items that can be included at the same time...
- CS-Mount to CCD adapter ring. (The one epoxied into the NiteMax housing) No additional charge.
- CS-Mount to C-Mount adapter/spacer. Adapts C-Mount lenses to fit the NiteMax. No additional charge.
- LCD with LCD Controller. Available in grey with silver or black available while supplies last. Cost is 2 for $25 plus $10 each for each additional.
- 15-LED IR Array. 3 for $1.
- Various NiteMax non-electronic parts. Need an extra housing to hack apart or modify? Let me know what you need and I'll include whatever I can for no additional charge.
