FS: Dell Axim X5 PDA w/ GPS, car kit, extras [USA/RI]

I am selling my Dell Axim X5 PDA. I have all the original parts including case, docking cradle, sync and power cables, stylus, and installation media.

Also included are a HaiCOMM 303 Compact Flash GPS receiver with case and a Seido powered car mount kit (powers PDA, internal speaker, cell phone charger, cigarette lighter power adapter, GPS serial cable adapter to use GPS as a mouse GPS instead of CF GPS).

I also have a Rhinoskin Aluminum shell PDA case, a 32MB compact flash card included, extra stylus.

The PDA currently is running Windows Mobile 2003 and I have the WM2003 upgrade CD as well.

I am at work right now and don't have any pictures available, but I will take any pictures and post them later if anyone is interested.

Judging my recent eBay auctions, I'm asking $250 shipped for the whole bundle, everything you need for a mobile GPS with the added use of a PDA.

I just got a Treo and am going to do my GPS off of that (no need for 2 devices to carry around).

I currently am running Routis 2004 GPS software on the system.

I am willing to negotiate a little on the price, but I think if you look at the same package with the GPS, all the car kit accessories, a hardshell case, and memory cards you will see my price is fairly accurate. However, I'm always open to negotiation.

    (1) yes, the GPS will work with WM5, but certain PPC models have reported issues with WM5 and compact flash cards losing the COM connection sometimes. I'm not sure what brand or model you are running WM5 on, but just a heads up.

    (2) I'm not really sure that I want to part with the GPS separately because that really draws away from the value of the Axim itself. As a combined unit its a great GPS device. I may sell it separately however, if I can't sell them both together.

I checked around a little at aximsite.com for you regarding the 51v and there seems to be mixed discussion. Some users report using a CF GPS receiver with no problem, while others seem to think that a bluetooth GPS is the best option for the 51v series. I really can't do the research for you, but I would recommed the aximsite.com forums.
