WTB: Broken 8" lilliput.

I need a lilliput to use as I build the housing for my working one. Anyone got a bust one out there that they want to make a few bucks on? The screen just needs to be in one piece so I can use it for sizing and test fitting.

The specific model is the one with the round buttons - 809GL-80.

All the numbers I could find on it....

on the back of the case 80981781B0073

on the back of the LCD panel itself - LQ080V3DG01 and 43516986Y

and on the front of the touchscreen , bottom right corner: SX-080-W4R-FB

The box has the 809GL-80NP/C/T checkbox checked

We have done the extend IR mod and it works and the touchscreen bit is probably ok, Just cracked the lower left corner of the screen - which you cant really see in the pics.

Do you have / can post a picture of the front bezel? That would confirm for definite if it's the right model. And I'd really quite like another bezel since I suspect I'll end up wanting one to fab into the dash although my plans are far from finalized.

Because of the install we were going to do we had to cut the bottom section off the front bezel - including the button strip, sorry. Thats why we had to do the IR mod as the buttons wouldnt be available. We have the button board taped to the rear of the screen with the ir sensor extended by 3 wires and ready for placement in another position.
