uhm i'm sure you meant to say that wanted to buy an original disc and not a copy..
Anyone have a copy of a newer version of OS X? I guess I dont care whcih one as long as its OS X. Having problems with my install cds.
I didnt say I wanted to buy a copy of an original. I asked if some had a copy. Which can be construed in different ways. If you have an original "copy" or a "copy" of an original then its 2 different things.Originally Posted by tj!2k4

If you legally own a copy, why do you have any reservations downloading it?
You're not doing anything wrong there, you're just getting something you already own through an alternative means because your discs are messed up.
To that, I second: Bittorrent.
That was an option. Fortunately it was just hanging on the last part of the traditional chinese language installation so I just unchecked that part on a custom install and everything is back to normal. Thanks for the suggestions.
