    Pictures of the computer:

What's included: the computer as is and as pictured, cd-rw drive (untested for writing functionality), floppy drive and adapter cable, assorted plastics, note that some of the plastics are missing and it is almost impossible to reassemble to original format, working keyboard, PIII, dell inspiron 4000, 128MB of ram (?), usb, won't boot from usb (I'm almost positive of this...unless you know a way around the bios limitations), a 20 gig (?) hd that has seen better days (it makes noises...lot of them so I wouldn't trust it much), PCI slots work, speakers work, boots into ubuntu live and knoppix, screen is pretty clean and has no dead pixels that i know of, no battery, newer version power supply that i got via the dell recall.

I'm thinking i'll let it go for under $100 and i'm willing to part it out...though i don't know what use you'd get out of the individual parts. Make me an offer, as i'm not sure what its really worth.

I guess its not impossible per se to fix up. Its missing most of the front plastics and side plastics. It has the wrist rest and such. It would need a new touchpad...the old one was broken and i trashed it. Its a PIII with 128mb of ram...its slow. The screen is in better condition than I thought it would be in when i pulled it out of the closet. It needs a new battery and probably a hd...the 20 gig I have makes strange noises, or maybe its just too loud for my tastes.

The g-tech should work on a motorcycle...i guess.

Its basically an accelerometer that takes a weight input from the user and uses that to calculate acceleration for 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. So you'd have to go find a large scale to weight you, your bike, your gear, etc. or at least get a good estimate. I'm thinking that it wouldn't measure the lateral g's very well due to tipping when you turn.

see these for more info (and note that they are talking about the newer versions...the one i'm selling doesn't do an rpm calculation...its the radar detector looking thing in the first picture above the pc)
