bump![]()
Hey peeps
I've stuck it on ebay now - was going to use it to develop either an inhouse portable audio unit or possibly a new carPC - however due to change in "finances" i need to sell and use money elsewhere
Fantasitic Hitachi 7.5" touchscreen PDA/Handheld PC - Windows CE - boots up in about 2 seconds, can play MP3's - has a CF/PCMCIA slot, USB and more - check it out now - its on ebay:

Thanks!

another bump - this is SOOOO close to the reserve now - i think one more bid it should be done
As mentioned in the auction tho - postage is an estimate - it may or may not cost slightly more - depending on final destination to be sent to.
cheers
I still have yet to figure out why they put reserve prices on eBay except to make more money for eBay itself.
why make an aucton with an unlisted reserve price- why not just start the auction at the minimum amount that you will ask for? if no one bids at that price then it is very likely that no one would meet your reserve either...
I have also been in a situation where I was willing to bid more, but no one else would bid against me, so i couldn't make the reserve price- and the auction expired with no sale...
fyi if you bid at or above the reserve, the current bid is the reserve
cool- that helps!
now I just need to find the British -> US conversion as it is on the UK eBay...

lol - indeed - the reserve is there so that it doesnt sell for less than acceptible amount on ebay.
I list my auctions with a £0.01 starting bid - this attracts attention to the advert. Then when people bid, if it ends without hitting reserve, I email the bidders and offer it to them at a cheaper price. If I started it at the reserve price and get no bids, i have no record of who is even remotely interested in it and it doesnt attract bids.
Its the last bump now - its got 1 hr left. Its over the reserve, so will end up going to the winning bidder
Hope whoever wins gets more use out of it than I did - i gave up with my carPC idea as I have a really nice Pioneer headunit now.
One benefit is if you combine it with a Buy It Now price. The BIN option disappears once the reserve is met so people still have the option to purchase at the BIN price while the low bids continue.Originally Posted by Broo
thats true, but a BIN costs another 6p..... lol
