Fs: 2x Phoenix Gold Rm5.1 Digital Amplifiers

    Hey guys,

I have 2 PGRM5.1s. Both were not sold by PG dealers this year and have been returned to the distributor, and now are available to me. I will list them here but reserve the right to cancel this sale if a local customer purchases one.

I am asking $500 USD, each, plus shipping. The price is firm, no offers accepted. Paypal preferred, Canadian buyer preferred.

These are a beautiful, versatile peice of kit. They feature a host of analog and digital inputs, one of which is SPDIF coaxial digital, fully compatible with any motherboard featuring this output. They also have a video output, which you can connect to any rgb input of your monitor. This allows you to see the settings and adjust parameters. controls are through a remote control, and a remote eye is included to stick on your dash.

Power is roughly 50 watts per (5) channel, with a 100-200ish watt subwoofer channel. There is also a low level subwoofer output which can be used with a larger sub amp, if needed. The sound is extremely clear, guaranteed to be 100% free of noise (digital signals are relatively noise-proof), and the amplifier plays quite loud with little distortion. I have used them with everything from factory speakers to high-end 3 way component sets with excellent performance every single time.

I LOVE these amplifiers. PG discontinued them because apparently they failed some kind of rating or approval for sale in north america. For this same reason, many similar products from different manufacturers were discontinued at the same time. I dont know any more details than that, but that's what I was told by someone at PG.

These are very likely the last 2 "NEW" condition RM5.1's you will see for sale, probably in all of north america. Whoever designed the rm5.1 MUST have a carpc in his own car, because it simply lends itself perfectly to the application. We have a digital source, we have speakers, we have a monitor, this amp supplies everything else.

the only evidence leading to it at the PG website is this owners manual. they even took it out of their 'discontinued products' list.
