    Did you have alternator whine with your soundblaster card? Do you have any noise with the Turtle beach? I have a SB Live USB and it is picking up noise somehow. Must be through the USBs power. I can hear hard drive clicking and motor noise when there is no music playing.

    Also, did you notice if the turtle beach card eats up more processor than the soundblaster? I used to have a turtle beach audio advantage micro card, it sounded great but was too demanding on my processor. I think it had something to do with the "virtual 5.1" software crap.
