WTB Amp

I am looking for a cheap amp to power my stock geo prizm speakers. i dont need anything amazing, just something enough to do the job.

I got one of those cheap vr3 300W amps from walmart. I'll sell it for 40 shipped. Its a mono amp tho (one channel) Your call.

newb question. what is the difference between 2 and 1 channel amps. i have 4 stock speakers to power. will this be enough.

i only want this to at least equal what I had with my stock radio i had, which was fine for me

2 channel means it can power 2 speakers. 4 channel is 4 speakers. thats the general idea anyways. you'll need a 4 channel amp for what your talking about and good luck finding one of those cheap.

you dont NEED 4 channels for what youre doin..especially if you by one thats 300w. you can go with a 2 channel if you dont mind losing your fader. That bein said its a geo prizm's STOCK speakers. If you add an amp ur gonna blow em. I'm positive there nothing but paper cones.

like i said i am just looking to get similar results as my stock radio and stock speakers. obviously i dont want to blow them out though.

Buy a cheap head unit and power the speakers with that. If you buy an amp you have to take in consideration that you will have to buy an amp kit with is extra money.
