No, The panels I have can run either way, LVDS cable or via the controllers that I have for them.
I am listing them on ebay tonight, and will update the FS post with links to the auctions.
The panels themselves are LVDS interface, which is ideal if you own a mobo w/LVDS output.
I only mentioned that since I build LVDS cables for the Via and Commell ITX boards.
The controller kits I have for the panels have RCA, S-Video and VGA inputs, come with all you need. Plug and Play.
