I might be interested but with all the horror stories I've heard about M2-ATX's going up in flames, I would be afraid to buy it secondhand if the warranty was only for the original purchaser. Do you know anything about the terms of the warranty?

I'm sorry but i don't! i do know there is a one year standard warranty, and i've had this a few months, so i could give you all of the origional purchase information if you want to retain the orig warranty for a while? Store contact information, my email, order # and such. And I'm not sure that i'm familiar with these stories you've heard about M2s going up in flames(?). I can assure you, my M2 did not break into any small fires during my ownership... Maybe some people are trying to push the limits of the 5v, 12v rails?

I sold my M1 on here during jan of this year. There were no problems. I expect this to go the same way.

Is that warranty through the manufacturer or through the store you bought it from? (if you didn't order it directly from the manufacturer, that is)

I emailed mini-box to ask about the terms of their warranty (assuming that the warranty is through them), hopefully they'll get back to me on that.

good deal I think the price of my paranoia from the few failure pictures I've seen on here, is that I'm just going to have to pay full retail price to end up with a full warranty without complications, which is fair. It was just hard to resist such a good price glad to see someone's picking it up.

edit: they got back to me, and yeah, warranty is only good for the original purchaser.
