WTB - 31Pin Hirose cables for LQ9D023/LQ9D161

Hey guys,
Anyone got one of those 31 cables for sale or is there a group buy thats happening at the moment?

Im after one of those...even though i made a one myself i still like to get proper made one.

I have a 31pin Hirose cable that is prewired on on end, and loose wires on the other. I also have the connector. So all you have to do is solder one end, the other one is already done. Let me know if your interested, I'd probably want $25+shipping for both the connector and the already soldered one.

Well dude I really need fully made one ... As i said i made one myself but i dont trust it too much specially as its going to be used in the car.

Im loooking for one that is completly wired as well, but it seems that Andrew didnt get any request for the cable group buy.

And i have yet to hear from maestro, since he too stated that he could accuire these cables.

Fosgate: I have the Hirose 31 plugs, what kind of cable did you use ? I've tried with ordinary flatcable (like the ones for harddrives, but its a bit big for the job.

darkwingduck the plugs i used were the surface mount 31 pin hirose ones and the cable was basically the one you mentioned.
The flat cable from the floppy disk drive as it had less wires and i have heaps of those.

okay, if we cant get hold of a hirose cable, i will have to try and solder those tiny devils to a flat cable.

Any advice to the solder process other than tining the strands of the cable before i really solder ?

The connections seems VERY small bot in comparison to my flat cable, but to my solder iron as well (and i purchased it just for this purpose, because the old one had a fairly large tip, and ran quite hot).

Ah well ive got 10 fingers to burn before i give up

I need the same damn hirose cable too... I have the vga cable for the allenruble but not the hirose... dang

Unfortunately, they(andrew and maestro) seem relluctant to tell me the part number (the propertbly got their cable with either the controller or the screen, like i got my connectors) and thus dont know the right partnumber.

Since im located in denmark, im willing to handle shipping to the rest of you, but i dont have the time to locate the right partnumber, nor to bargain for a good group deal.

What im saying is if you guys can find a partnumber and setup a group by(including price quotes (remember to include uk sales tax), im willing to make the purchase and handle the shipping.
