dc-dc 250 watt power supplies

Right now, I need the attention of anyone who would be interested in purchasing brand new 250 watt atx dc-dc power supplies. We are discussing this in the power supplies thread, bu t I need as much input as possible. If you are in need of one of these supplies, please post below, and tell me how much you would be willing to pay. The more people show interest, the lower price I'll be willing to sell these at. They are direct from the manufacturer, and are the exact same as the Keypower 250 W ATX supply. KPI purchases from the same company.

I agree. I need one, but def. < $100 would get many people's attention on this board.

I second that..$100 would definitely peak my interest..but I got a gut feeling it may run us more

Well, everyone needs to drop that hope. There is no way possible to get them down to 100$. I'd like to know what keypower sells them for, since its the same unit, just direct from the manufacturer.

I was looking at the KeyPower ones a few weeks ago and called, the price for the 250W ATX Supply was $199 US.

So I doubt anybody is going to go for $100 US.

But just my 2 cents, I ended up going with the PC Power and Cooling 100-1U for $149 US. It is less wattage, but not a problem for me. Plus the Sleekline is alot smaller. It is a sweet little power supply.

Why wouldn't people want the exact same thing for less cost? Even if we can do these for 150$ you are still saving 50$, 1/4 of the cost.
And I haven't heard any response on these things, so I'm going to assume that there isn't enough interest to actually import them.
Until further notice, or some serious interest, this project is on hold.
