    WTB Inspiron 5100 Mobo

    Looking for mobo.

    Got everything to begin a project except a working Mobo. The one currently in this laptop will simply shut down w/o warning when the CPU reaches any kind of load.

    check if the heatsink on the cpu is screw all teh way down. sounds like its overheating?? anyways, you can get mobos from the 1100,1150 and 5150. they should all fit teh casing fo the laptop.

    the heat sink was on so tight we couldn't comfortabally pry it off.

    Thanks for the heads up on the other mobo's
