FS: The COOLEST truck in MS
I can no longer afford to go to school and make payments on my truck. And I've always wanted a rice-burner :)
BUT---with the extensive modifications done to my truck (most notably the BIG F'N HOLE IN THE DASH for the 10.4" LCD), I can't trade it in. And, I can't exactly sell it to Joe Schmoe who works at the jiffy mart, because the normal, average person is either intimidated by the system or will kill themselves using it while driving.
So, I'm offering it to you guys (and YES, this includes the computer)
Truck Specs:
1997 Chevy Cheyenne 2WD Extended Cab Short Bed
96,000 miles, only 20K on the transmission.
4 P265/75R15 Goodyear Tracker tires with less than 15,000 miles
Westin Chrome Step Bars
Westin Chrome Bed Rails
Bedliner (generic plastic kind)
Diamond plate Drop-in Tool box
Custom Painted Interior
Custom Carpet (to match interior)
Headlight Strobes
Blue Neon interior lights
CB with PA & external speaker
etc, etc, etc...
Car Alarm: Keyless Entry, 2-way FM remote/pager, Shock sensor, 126dB siren, remote start (if I can figure out how to get the remote start to work), aux output (trunk release, but trucks dont have trunks)
I'm sure I missed something up there.
Computer Specs:
10.4" LCD Touchscreen
667 Celeron
96MB PC100 RAM
20GB Western Dig HDD
16x Slot Loading Pioneer DVD
MSI-6125 BookPC: LAN, NTSC/VGA out, 4xUSB, 2xFireWire, IrDA
2 PCI slots, one of which currently has a 2 port serial card (with hookup for another LPT port--and I have the connector)
Rand McNally Streetfinder GPS w/software
That nifty 8-port parallel relay card I keep talking about.
Blue Book Value at KBB.com lists for $9770 with A/C, and $9350 without. The truck HAS air conditioning, but there is a wiring problem somewhere that I haven't gotten around to finding so the A/C doesnt work. Simple enough to fix once I find it.
The fuel guage also only works intermittently--most likely the fuel sender. I have been using the trip meter to check my gas for the last 10,000 miles or so.
So, on to the PRICE: since it does have a couple of minor problems, but it DOES come with a computer system whose components are worth $1500, I'm gonna say:
$9500 negotiable.
And Skinny, I'm not going to sell it to you for the cost of shipping :)
